The 2025 Kentucky football team is going to look much different at wide receiver than it did this year. Starting wide receivers Dane Key and Barion Brown both announced their intention to enter the transfer portal already. Now, Anthony Brown-Stephens is joining them.
After the worst season of football since 2013, Mark Stoops is going to have his work cut out for him. A number of players have already decided to transfer, and more are sure to join them.

The addition and rise of Ja’Mori Maclin limited the opportunities for Brown-Stephens this year. He had just five receptions for 77 yards, though he did have two touchdowns. An opportunity to start will be the goal for the former three-star recruit.
The transfer portal officially opens on December ninth, and the number of players leaving Kentucky is sure to grow. Coach Stoops will have his work cut out for him as he looks to bring new players in to replace all the lost production, especially at receiver.
