Did you think the winless New York Jets were going to pull off a wild upset of the Los Angeles Rams in L.A.? For the majority of you, the answer is: of course not.
Did you also think the Cincinnati Bengals, with Ryan Finley under center and a middling defense, would beat the Pittsburgh Steelers BY TEN? I’m sure the answer is no.
But if you had the hindsight — or, I guess, a time-traveling DeLorean — you could have turned those two huge upsets into a lot of money.
If you’re wondering what a moneyline parlay of both games would have paid out, we have some answers from around Twitter. You could have turned $100 into nearly $13,000 according to Odds Shark. BetMGM says it would have paid out $8,525, which is still one heck of a return.
FYI: A $100 parlay on the Jets and Bengals moneyline would've had a potential payout of $12,687.50

A $100 ML parlay on Jets (+1100) and Bengals (+750) would've paid $10K. Was anyone sick enough, I mean smart enough, to bet that?

Wow. We all missed out. Hindsight obviously helps. But perhaps it’s time to throw a buck or two occasionally on a shocking pair of upsets.
