A season in review: Lior Berman

The next subject of our “Year in Review” series is Lior Berman, who averaged 2.2 points per game as a senior for the Tigers.

The Auburn Tigers ended the 2022-23 season with a loss in the NCAA Tournament, falling to Houston in the round of 32. As the program begins to transition to the offseason, Auburn Wire will take time to reflect on the season that was by highlighting the accomplishments of this year’s team.

Berman’s first three seasons didn’t see the Birmingham native have much of a role, but that all changed this season. Berman saw meaningful minutes all season and was on the floor during some big moments.

Berman averaged 2.2 points and 1.2 rebounds per game this season. His season high came when he scored eight points in Auburn’s 67-65 loss to the Vanderbilt Commodores in February.
