A recent episode of Redick’s own podcast, “The JJ Redick Podcast,” featured his former 76ers teammate Butler. The two talked about a variety of topics, including when each knew his time in Philadelphia was coming to a close. Redick said he had an idea that he wouldn’t be back when he had his exit interview with general manager Elton Brand following the second-round playoff loss to Toronto in May.
