José Iglesias wearing a mic is so much fun.

New York Mets shortstop José Iglesias wore a mic during Wednesday’s game against the New York Yankees, and he did not disappoint.

After making a really solid double play for the Mets, the mic captured Iglesias celebrating with his New York teammates before singing a snippet of his single “OMG” for the game broadcast camera.

The Mets have had a fascinating season, trying to stay afloat in the National League and having plenty of fun in the process. Iglesias has played a big role in both of those pursuits.

Putting mics on MLB players is such a fun twist for game broadcasts, and we hope to see even more clips like this as the baseball regular season continues.
