A look back at all of Florida’s final FPI rankings since 2005

Check out the highs and the lows for Florida’s football program over the past couple of decades, according to FPI.

Florida football has seen some significant ups and downs over the past two decades, with a pair of national championship rings that represent the highwater mark, while there are also a few seasons that were not just a nadir in the recent era, but troughs that rival those dating back to the 1980s.

One of the predictive tools that have emerged in the modern era of the sport is ESPN’s Football Power Index, a predictive rating system designed to measure team strength and project performance with the aim of correctly predicting games and season outcomes. However, even after the end of the season, the final values have some use in looking back on that year’s campaign.

Below is a list of all of Florida football’s final FPI stats for each completed season dating back to 2005 — nearly a full two decades’ worth of data. Included is the final win-loss tally and the team’s FPI rating, along with its national and SEC rankings at the conclusion of each respective year.
