Marrone served as the Jaguars’ head coach from 2017-20.
He was an assistant coach at the University of Tennessee in 2001. Marrone served as tight ends coach and oversaw offensive tackles for the Vols under Phillip Fulmer.
During Marrone’s tenure as Jacksonville’s head coach, former Vol Tom Myslinski was the Jaguars’ strength and conditioning coordinator.
Myslinski played guard for Tennessee (1988-91) and earned all-conference honors. He earned eight varsity letters: four in football and four in track and field. The former Vol won two Southeastern Conference football championships in 1989 and 1990 and was a member of UT’s 1991 NCAA championship track and field team.
Myslinski earned a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology from UT in 1992 and was a two-time Academic All-SEC member.
The former Vol was a fourth-round selection in the 1992 NFL draft by Dallas (109th overall). He played in 60 games (25 starts) during his NFL career.
He served a volunteer assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Pittsburgh from 1998-2001. With the Panthers, he worked with offensive and defensive linemen.
His resume includes serving as the Cleveland Browns’ head strength and conditioning coach (2007-09), and as a strength and conditioning coach for football at North Carolina (2011) and Memphis (2010).
