NASCAR is heading to Richmond Raceway for an Easter Night extravaganza that will surely put on a show. The last five weekends have featured sunny or cloudy skies throughout the racing, with some notable winds in a few of those races. Now, NASCAR hopes to bring that clear weather to Virginia on Sunday night.
According to Weather.com, the weather forecast at Richmond Raceway calls for a high of 75° and partly cloudy skies on Sunday. For Saturday, it will be a high of 72° during the day, and the winds won’t be a significant issue throughout the weekend. The forecast calls for 12 miles per hour winds on Saturday and six miles per hour winds on Sunday.
The sport is ready to take on Richmond, representing its first of two dates during the 2024 season. With good weather in the forecast, NASCAR teams and drivers will be able to build a good notebook for the upcoming short tracks during the new campaign. The first of two races at Richmond has arrived, and there are a lot of eyes on the on-track action this weekend.
