The Michigan Wolverines are coming off their first trip to the college football playoffs and their first Big Ten title since 2004.
During the run to the title, Michigan used two quarterbacks with [autotag]Cade McNamara[/autotag] taking a larger portion of the snaps. Heading into the season there is still a competition between McNamara and J.J. McCarthy, but it will likely be Cade’s job when the season opens against Colorado State on Sept. 3.
The 2022 season could be very much like 2021 for the quarterbacks in Ann Arbor. Both will see the field at some point in the season.
