So many picks have been traded for the mediocre Carson Wentz.

It’s been a rough fall from the top for Carson Wentz.

As experts including our Christian D’Andrea expected, The Washington Commanders released the quarterback on Monday, ending a one-year tenure that was awful (seven games started, 11 touchdowns and nine interceptions). Since he won a Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles — albeit as NOT the starting QB — he’s played with the Indianapolis Colts and the Commanders, and now faces playing for a fourth team in as many years.

Yikes.

And when you look at what’s been traded for Wentz over the years in the hopes that he would live up to being the No. 2 overall pick in 2016 — the Eagles traded up to get him! — it’s pretty wild.
