A hot mic caught an ump dropping two amazing F-bombs while ejecting Ron Gardenhire

We are living in the golden age of hot mics.

While it stinks that we can’t have fans at sporting events it has allowed something special to happen – we’re living in the golden age of hot mics picking up bad words.

Last weekend at the PGA Championship we got to hear Justin Thomas react the way any frustrated golfer would react to a missed putt. ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt handled all the cursing at Harding Park so well, too.

And today we got to hear what an umpire sounds like when ejecting a manager. Here’s a hint – they don’t sound happy.

Detroit Tigers manager Ron Gardenhire was not pleased with a ruling that turned a triple into a double because the ball seemed to get stuck under the outfield wall and he voiced his displeasure to the umps.

First-base ump Tim Timmons then could be heard dropping a few F-bombs while telling Gardenhire to leave:

Now that is beautiful. God bless hot mics.
