This is not a mini-golf (or putt-putt, if you call it that) post.
No, this is the tale of an Oregon woman named Allison Koehnke, who took out her putter on a hole of actual, real golf … and made an ace.
Golf Digest got the story, and it’s terrific. Koehnke was playing at Bandon Dunes’ Sheep Ranch and stepped up to the par-3 16th, 102 yards out. She informed her caddied “she could be twitchy with short irons,” so she went for the putter that she would give a pretty full swing as if she was chipping it.
The video is amazing:
Tracked down this woman who made an ace with her PUTTER at Bandon Dunes’ Sheep Ranch, as first shared by @NoLayingUp. She’s got quite the story to tell! That her husband got it on video is priceless. pic.twitter.com/3TSsbb8MAS

That’s a 300-foot-plus putt for a hole-in-one. Unreal!
