A few things have changed since Rutgers was last in a bowl game

For the first time in years, the Scarlet Knights are on the verge of earning a bowl game bid

For the first time in years, the Scarlet Knights are on the verge of earning a bowl game bid. With three games left in the regular season, they have won six games, tied for their highest total dating back to 2014.

While Rutgers fans have patiently waited for a reason to celebrate, this year’s team represents years of hard work. Gavin Wimsatt and Kyle Monangia have taken their games to another level to lead the offense. The defense has also continued to improve in a competitive Big Ten conference.

Additionally, the Scarlet Knights are in unfamiliar territory. They are predicted to win at least one more game this season. Seven wins would be their highest total since joining the Big Ten in 2014.

Since then, a few things have changed and most of the players on that 2014 Rutgers team have moved onto the next chapter of their lives.
