A discussion with talented 2023 wide receiver Kameron Edge

Get to know this 2023 wide receiver.

Auburn has had a ton of talented high school athletes come to Jordan-Hare Stadium this season to check out what Auburn has to offer for a Saturday game day experience.

One of those recruits has been Kameron Edge. He’s a 6-foot-1, 190-pound wide receiver from Carrolton, Georgia. He’s generated some buzz with Georgia Tech but is interested in looking at other programs as well. He will be a member of the 2023 signing class.

Auburn Wire reached out to Edge to see where he was in his recruitment process and he agrees to answer some questions. Here’s our conversation.

Auburn Wire: What have been your thoughts on Auburn on your visits?

Kameron Edge: Auburn is the college I am most familiar with. I have attended two games this season for unofficial visits but attended games as a kid when my cousin played for Auburn 2012-2015. I love the atmosphere and it’s nice to have that family connection.

Auburn Wire: Which coach have you spent the most time with?

Kameron Edge: I haven’t really had much contact with any of the coaches besides small talk during my visits. Hopefully, more intentional conversations are in the future.

Auburn Wire: What are you looking for in a school at the next level?

Kameron Edge: I’m looking for a college that feels like family, offers excellent academics, and a place to give my all on the field every Saturday.

Auburn Wire: Who are your top schools right now?

Kameron Edge: My top interests are Auburn, GA Tech, Notre Dame, North Carolina, and Florida. I’m excited to see what the future holds.
