Golden Tate is about as exciting of player as you can name in recent Notre Dame memory, being a threat to score seemingly anytime the ball was in his hands.

Chase Claypool took a little while to get going but turned into a star his last two seasons at Notre Dame, taking home team MVP honors for the 2019 season.

Tate is getting set to start his second season with the New York Giants and 11th in the NFL while Claypool is set for his rookie year to begin after being taken 49th overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The two will meet in Week One of the NFL’s 2020 season as the Steelers and Giants kickoff the Monday Night Football schedule at MetLife Stadium.

The game may be months away but both Tate and Claypool took to Twitter to start the trash-talk already.

Kickoff is set for 7:15 p.m. ET on September 14.

Give me the Steelers (probably) laying the points.
