A college football analyst compares Notre Dame to a frozen pizza

Who doesn’t love a frozen pizza?

You know it is college football season when people are comparing Notre Dame football to items you might find in your freezer.

On3’s J.D. Pickell has been singing praises for the Irish as opening weekend approaches, and on Wednesday did more of the same. He compared Notre Dame to a frozen pizza’s allure at midnight, “the more I look at them, the more I like them. … This is going to be an exciting brand of offense under Mike Denbrock.”

Pickell is very high on what the Irish offense can do. He also believes running back [autotag]Jeremiyah Love[/autotag] is going to break out in Week 1 against Texas A&M, and introduce himself to the nation.

Pickell didn’t seem to be worried about the offensive line, which I tend to agree with. This unit has shown over recent history that they are able to insert almost any of the back-ups, and not skip a beat.

Denbrock brings a different look than the traditional Notre Dame offense, but it’s proven and effective. Many of us agree with Pickell that the Irish will put up plenty of points this fall.
