If you want to sum up what the Kansas City Chiefs struggled with against the Philadelphia Eagles — and have for the whole season, frankly — in the 21-17 loss on Monday, it’s one word: Drops.
Receivers continue to drop Patrick Mahomes passes at an alarming rate, including one from Marquez Valdes-Scantling in which he was wide open downfield with 1:42 left in the contest, a would-be go-ahead touchdown.
Which brings us to the moment captured by cameras in which Mahomes threw his gloves to a Chiefs fan in the crowd … and the die-hard dropped them, which led to everyone making the same joke:
Mahomes still couldn’t get someone to catch his passes even after the game 😂pic.twitter.com/Vo0peNKwFi
