It was a pretty wild Memorial Day for a teenager in California on Monday.
As you’ll see from a TikTok clip that has gone mega-viral, a camera on the teen’s property captured her dogs barking at a bear (!!) that had walked onto a wall.
It looks like the bear had picked up one of the dogs, and that’s when the teenager — per Newsweek, her name is Hailey — ran right over and … pushed the bear off the wall.
Newsweek quoted Hailey from a follow-up video in which she said she said she sprained her finger and scraped her knee, “but we’re all OK.” Thank goodness!

This is nuts and EXTREMELY brave. And it also has Twitter users quoting a Mysitkal video in which he once rapped “HELP THE BEAR!” so much so that both his name and that phrase were trending on Tuesday.
