And then there were three. Bachelorette Charity Lawson visited four hometowns in this week’s episode, and it was frankly kind of boring. But at this point of a dating show, boring is actually good.
There has been no real drama since Brayden departed, and all four of the remaining guys seem lovely. That’s excellent for Charity’s prospects, but a little dull for reality television. Monday’s episode featured four delightful family visits with four delightful families.
Each date was sweet, the connections between Charity and each man seemed honest and genuine and the biggest drama of the week was Joey’s Uncle Joe saying he worried that his nephew’s people-pleasing side might have come out a little bit too much.
While it sounds like a complaint, it’s honestly nice to see Charity have a good quartet — now trio — of remaining suitors. Let’s see who is in the driver’s seat and who has work to do with a couple weeks left.
