When Kentucky basketball recently earned a commitment from guard Acaden Lewis, many thought the forward Caleb Wilson would follow. A decision hasn’t been made yet, but the Wildcats may have gotten a bit of good news on that front.
Wilson was scheduled to take a visit with John Calipari and Arkansas this weekend. However, on Thursday, 247sports analyst Travis Branham posted that the visit would no longer take place, and won’t be rescheduled.

Some will certainly take that as a positive for Kentucky. It could be a sign that he’s close to choosing the Wildcats. However, it’s important to note that it could be related to something completely different. It’s also noteworthy that Wilson was in attendance for Kentucky’s big win over the Duke Blue Devils on Tuesday.
Wilson is a 6’9″ forward out of Georgia. He is currently ranked as the number eight overall player by 247sports, and is rated five stars. He has offers from teams like the Auburn Tigers, Tennessee Volunteers, and North Carolina Tarheels as well.
