A 13-year old caller on the Rich Eisen show talks Jets and Haason Reddick

New York Jets fan Connor calls into the Rich Eisen show.

Rich Eisen might have just fielded a call this week from the future journalist who will take over his show. Eisen spoke with a New York Jets about the Jaason Reddick contract holdout.

On the call on Eisen’s radio show, ‘Connor from Long Island’ asked about what the Jets should do with Reddick. During the call, Connor revealed that he is 13-years old.

The Jets traded for Reddick this offseason and now the edge rusher is holding out. In 2023 while with the Philadelphia Eagles, Reddick had 38 tackles and 11 sacks.

Reddick is coming off four straight seasons of double-digit sacks. His current contract calls for a base salary of $14.25 million this season.

“If the Jets have the space in the cap to pay him, I say do it,” Eisen said in response to the question from Connor.

“Aaron Rodgers is not getting any younger, Connor. You know what I mean? They made this bed, sir, way back when you were 11. And they decided to go and get Aaron Rodgers – now is the time.”

But what, it turns out that Connor is in fact a writer for JetsXFactor, a site that covers, well, the Jets. Pretty neat turn in the story, isn’t it?

Connor then predicted that he will take over for Eisen on his show before he goes to junior prom.

Just kidding. This is very cool stuff from Connor on the call and some significant composure.

And watch out Jets beat. Connor is coming.
