MSU women’s basketball drops in AP Poll following first loss of season

Michigan State women’s basketball dropped a few spots in the latest AP Top 25 poll released on Monday

Michigan State women’s basketball dropped its first game of the season this past week, and thus fell in the updated Associated Press (AP) rankings.

Michigan State dropped four spots to No. 19 in the updated rankings released on Monday. The Spartans lost to Alabama this past week, which was Michigan State’s first loss of the season.

Michigan State is 11-1 overall on the year. The Spartans have been ranked for four straight weeks.

A total of seven teams from the Big Ten are ranked in this week’s poll. UCLA leads the way at No. 1 in the country.
