Former Michigan State quarterback Rocky Lombardi will be playing professional football in the next few months

Former Michigan State quarterback Rocky Lombardi will be playing professional football in the next few months.

Lombardi has reportedly signed with the Michigan Panthers of the United Football League. UFL reporter James Larsen reported the notable Lombardi news on Monday.

Lombardi played three seasons for the Spartans, the last in 2020. Following the shortened 2020 season, Lombardi transferred to Northern Illinois where he played three seasons for the Huskies.

Lombardi played for the Cincinnati Bengals during the preseason this year and has been attempting to crack a spot in the NFL this year.
