Kentucky drops six spots in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll after their loss

Kentucky basketball falls to tenth in this week’s USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll.

It was unlikely that Kentucky basketball was going to go the rest of the season without a loss. However, at 10 – 1, fans thought they might make it to SEC play before dropping another. The CBS Sports Classic, however, once again got in the way.

The Wildcats had their worst game of the season, and fell to the Ohio State Buckeyes 85 – 65. It was an ugly game for every Wildcat, and the results of this week’s USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll reflects that.
