Head coach Andy Reid did his best to keep the Kansas City Chiefs players motivated after their 27-19 win over the Houston Texans.
Reid congratulated his team on a job well done on both sides of the ball in his postgame speech in the Chiefs’ locker room after Kansas City’s victory on Saturday.
Then, Chiefs players broke out in a birthday chant for defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, who saw Kansas City extend its win streak to five games on the day he turned 65.
Take a look at Reid addressing the team in the locker room in this video shared by the Chiefs’ official Twitter account:

While Kansas City’s postgame jubilation was certainly warranted after its hard-fought win, the Chiefs will have little time to celebrate their latest accomplishment.
Kansas City is set to face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day in Week 17 with a chance to clinch the AFC’s No. 1 playoff seed.
