Teams that are on the improve played an exciting game in Charlotte. Sixty minutes wasn’t enough to settle the decision.
Carolina got a 21-yard touchdown run from Chuba Hubbard in overtime to down the Arizona Cardinals 36-30 on Sunday.
The loss eliminated the Cardinals from the NFC playoff race.
Hubbard had 152 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns. He outgained Arizona’s James Conner who had 117 rushing yards on 15 carries.
Chad Ryland had forced overtime for the Cardinals on the last play of regulation with a 58-yard field goal.
