The Falcons offense has looked better than in recent weeks, but points have eluded them thus far. Finally, the defense stepped up and put points on the board in the second quarter. Safety Jessie Bates intercepted Giants quarterback Drew Lock and returned the ball 55 yards for a touchdown.
Bates is the only player this season with four or more interceptions and forced fumbles each. The Falcons took a 10-7 lead over the Giants after the pick-six. Watch the play below, as shared by the team’s social media account.
