Jalen Hurts injury updates: Eagles QB exits game vs. Commanders with a concussion

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts forced to exit game vs. Commanders with a concussion

Philadelphia has a 21-7 lead over Washington, and they’ll have to wrap up the NFC East without quarterback Jalen Hurts.

The Eagles star signal-caller was evaluated for a concussion after taking an ugly hit on a quarterback draw.

Hurts was 1-4 passing for 11 yards and had three carries for 41 yards before exiting for the blue medical tent.

In his first real game action this season, backup quarterback and former Steelers first-round pick Kenny Pickett is 3-4 passing for 20 yards, a touchdown to A.J. Brown, and one ugly interception.
