Former Texas A&M EDGE Enai White is headed back to his home state of Pennsylvania, as the junior pass rusher will transfer to Penn State for the 2025 season after failing to find a consistent role along the Aggie defensive line.
A four-star recruit in A&M’s historic 2022 recruiting class, White’s undeniable talent never came to fruition, mainly due to the Aggies’ deep defensive line rotation during his entire career in College Station. Once he entered the portal, it wasn’t surprising that many blue blood programs, including Penn State, were interested.
Standing at 6-5 and nearly 250 pounds, the metrics are there, but after recording 11 tackles and two sacks in three seasons, the Nittany Lions are getting a project player with high upside, but that can be said for a lot of transfer portal players who haven’t lived up to their recruiting expectations.
Enai White has three years of eligibility remaining, and I can safely say that every Aggie fan wishes him luck at his new destination.
