Coach Mike Elko and his team have concentrated on Texas A&M’s offense this offseason, particularly with the addition of four players from the transfer portal: quarterback Jacob Zeno, wide receivers Micah Hudson and Mario Craver, and tight end Micah Riley.
Although Aggie fans are concerned about the minimal additions to the defensive line, we are still in the early phase of the transfer portal. The spring portal will likely present more opportunities if Elko and his team fail to land D-line depth in the following weeks. Nevertheless, it’s promising to see the staff prioritizing offensive playmakers.
On Thursday, it was revealed by On3’s Pete Nakos that Miami (FL) transfer wide receiver Isaiah Horton will reportedly visit three SEC programs, including Texas A&M, Alabama, and Georgia, as the sophomore wideout is coming off his best season yet, recording 56 receptions, 616 yards and five touchdowns in 2024.
However, Horton’s production declined toward the end of the season. With Miami QB Cam Ward off to the NFL, Horton is looking for a fresh start, preferably in the SEC.
Texas A&M is hosting North Carolina State transfer wide receiver KC Concepcion on Thursday.
