A former LSU football receiver found a landing spot in the transfer portal.
According to On3’s Hayes Fawcett, Daniels will use his last year of eligibility to play at Miami next season. He started for the Tigers in 2024 after spending four years at Liberty.
As a starter at LSU, the six-foot-two 205-pounder caught 42 passes for 480 yards. He was in and out of the lineup as he dealt with a lower-body injury.
Through his five-year career, Daniels totaled 148 receptions for 2,434 yards and 21 touchdowns. His senior season at Liberty made him a top transfer prospect as he posted 1,067 receiving yards and ten touchdowns.
Daniels was a significant contributor to LSU’s offense and figured to be again in 2024. He was a big play threat with Liberty but emerged as one of LSU’s top quick game options in Baton Rouge.
Daniels was one of multiple LSU receivers to hit the transfer portal when it opened last week. He’ll bring five years of experience to a Hurricanes team looking to rebuild, with star quarterback Cam Ward likely heading to the NFL.
