California wide receiver Nyziah Hunter has scheduled a visit to Nebraska per On3’s Pete Nakos. He will visit Nebraska on Wednesday and Kansas State on Friday, per ESPN’s Max Olson.
Hunter was a dynamic playmaker for the Golden Bears last season. He recorded 40 catches for 578 yards and five touchdowns as a freshman in 2024. He also recorded a rush for six yards.
The wide receiver was a four-star prospect and the 327th overall player in the 2023 class, per the On3 Industry rankings.
Nebraska football has made the wide receiver position an area of focus in the transfer portal. They have set up visits with receivers over the next couple of weeks as they look to find veteran production at the position.
Hunter would be a dynamic playmaker with multiple years of eligibility. He would be a solid fit in a wide-open offense led by offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen. The Huskers are looking to get explosive playmakers in the transfer portal, and Hunter undoubtedly fits that bill as well.
