Todd Bowles credits ‘all three phases’ of the Bucs game for their win

The veteran head coach knows it takes a complete effort out of a team to win on the road.

Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles was quick to credit every group of the team on Monday when speaking to the media following Sunday’s win over the Chargers. The veteran head coach knows it takes a complete effort out of a team to win on the road.

Doing it in the fashion they did is impressive and proves how efficient this team can be down the stretch of the season and potentially into the playoffs.

“It was definitely one of our most complete games. All three phases helped out in the victory. I thought those guys had great energy coming out [which was] something we talked about before the game. They really came out in the second half with even greater energy, and they finished the game on both sides of the ball so that was good.”

To go from being underdogs on the road to winning a whopping 40-17 takes a complete effort, as he said. This team has not had a win like that all year, and for it to come in mid-December speaks volumes about the work of Bowles and his staff.

They are ready for the playoffs, perhaps even a playoff run.
