A second-half collapse by the Indianapolis Colts offense resulted in a loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday. But what else happened around the AFC South in Week 15?
The Houston Texans would defeat the Miami Dolphins 20-12, in a game where the defense dominated the day. Houston would force four takeaways while holding the Miami offense to just 3.6 yards per play.
CJ Stroud was 18-of-26 passing for 131 yards with two touchdowns. On the ground, Houston totaled 77 rush yards at 3.9 yards per attempt.
This win, coupled with the Colt’s loss, helped the Texans secure the AFC South title.
The Jacksonville Jaguars would host the Jets in Week 15 and the offense would put up 25 points. Mac Jones was 31-of-46 passing for 294 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Brian Thomas Jr. would eclipse the 100 yard receiving mark, while as a team, the Jaguars averaged 4.7 yards per rush.
However, a vintage performance from Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams was too much to overcome. The Jets would score 32 points with Rodgers throwing for 289 yards and three touchdowns and Adams totaling 198 of those yards.
Lastly, the Titans would lose 27-37 to the Bengals in a game where Tennessee turned the ball over six times. Will Levis was benched for Mason Rudolph, who would come in and complete 21-of-26 passes for 209 yards with two scores and one interception.
Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow would throw for 271 yards with three touchdowns to two interceptions against the Titans’ defense. Ja’Marr Chase had 94 of those receiving yards and Tee Higgins 88.
Coming up in Week 16, the Titans will travel to Indianapolis to face the Colts. The Texans will play at Kansas City and Jacksonville is at Las Vegas.
