After yet another impressive week of action on the hardwood, the Alabama Crimson Tide are back on the move in the latest college basketball AP Poll Top 25 rankings.
In the latest update of the men’s Top 25 on Monday afternoon, Alabama rose a total of one spot up to No. 6 from their No. 7 ranking held last week. The rise also coincides with a jump for Alabama in the latest USA TODAY Sports men’s college basketball Coaches Poll, with the Crimson Tide moving up to No. 7 there.
Alabama was also the fourth highest-ranked SEC team Monday, trailing only the No. 1 Tennessee Volunteers, No. 2 Auburn Tigers, and No. 4 Kentucky Wildcats.
Since the previous update of the AP Poll Top 25, the Crimson Tide have played only once, which was an impressive 83-75 home win over Creighton on Saturday night. With the win, Alabama now sits at 8-2 overall for the 2024-25 season.
The Crimson Tide will be back in action Wednesday night on the road at North Dakota.
