The New Orleans Saints weren’t getting production from Jake Haener or Spencer Rattler at quarterback on Sunday against the Washington Commanders.
So, they went to a trick play and Cedrick Wilson Jr. showed the arm they hoped to have.
It helped that Alvin Kamara was the target and made a great one-hand grab in the end zone.
After the PAT, Washington still led 17-7 in the third quarter.
To that point, the New Orleans QBs were 6-of-14 for 100 yards and a pick.
