Georgia Bulldogs freshman wide receiver Nitro Tuggle is planning to enter the NCAA transfer portal. He joins fellow UGA receiver Michael Jackson in the portal.
Tuggle, a former four-star recruit, showed promise during his freshman season with Georgia. He appeared in six games, but he made the largest impact in Georgia’s huge home win over Tennessee. Tuggle recorded a career-high two catches for 25 yards against Tennessee.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound freshman receiver will have three years of eligibility remaining at his new home. Tuggle is an explosive athlete and a good route runner capable of generating separation against opposing defensive backs.
Tuggle can return to Georgia for next season. We will provide updates on his recruitment.
Tuggle is the third Georgia Bulldog to enter the transfer portal. He joins wide receiver Michael Jackson and cornerback Julian Humphrey in the portal. The NCAA transfer portal is open from Dec. 9 to Dec. 28, which is days before Georgia’s College Football Playoff quarterfinal game on Jan. 1.
