Jaguars win, but lose grip on 2025 NFL draft’s No. 1 pick

The Jaguars won their first game since October on Sunday, beating the Titans 10-6. In doing so, they lost their grip on the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL draft.

Already mathematically eliminated from playoff contention, Jacksonville entered Week 14 on a five-game losing streak and in possession of the upcoming draft’s first choice, which it had held since losing to the Detroit Lions in Week 11.

Jacksonville’s Sunday victory over Tennessee pushed the Jaguars down to No. 5 in the draft order, per Tankathon.

At 2-11, the Las Vegas Raiders and New York Giants now hold the top two spots in the draft, with the Raiders owning a strength-of-schedule tiebreaker for the No. 1 pick.

The New England Patriots, Carolina Panthers, Jaguars, Titans, New York Jets and Cleveland Browns, all 3-10, follow the Raiders and Giants in that order.

Four weeks remain in the 2024 NFL season, leaving plenty of room for the order to shift over the next month. The Jaguars will face the Jets, Raiders and Titans in Weeks 15-17, and the results of those games are certain to impact each team’s spot.

The 2025 NFL draft will run from April 24-26.
