Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is wrapped up after Wednesday’s Early Signing Day produced 24 signees, including five-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers and five-star wide receiver Jerome Myles.
According to nearly every recruiting ranking, including ESPN, 247Sports, and On3, the Aggies’ 2025 cycle is ranked 9th overall and even higher in several composite rankings. So, hats off to head coach Mike Elko and his staff for landing a second consecutive top-10 recruiting class.
However, one member of the class, three-star quarterback Eli Morcos, took a couple more days to put pen to paper, making things official on Friday afternoon as one of the more underrated signal callers is headed to Aggieland this spring and is definitely a name to watch within the 2025 QB depth chart.
Standing at 6-2 and 200 pounds, Morcos may not be listed as a true dual-threat quarterback, but his tape begs to differ. Morcos finished his 2025 season with 15 touchdowns and six interceptions for 2,144 yards through the air.
Morcos averaged 5.2 yards per carry on the ground, producing 471 rushing yards and six touchdowns.
According to 247Sports, Morcos is currently positioned as the 94th-ranked quarterback and the 260th-ranked prospect in Texas.
