LSU is hoping to bounce back on Early National Signing Day. It’s been a rough few weeks for the Tigers on a recruiting trail, but LSU has the chance to regain momentum on Wednesday.
One domino being closely watched by LSU is five-star offensive lineman and Florida State commit Solomon Thomas.
Thomas committed to Florida State last year, but following a rough year in Tallahassee and the firing of offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Alex Atkins, Thomas decided to explore his options.
LSU and Florida made final pushes and Thomas’ decision is coming down to the Noles, Tigers, and Gators.
Thomas will announce his destination at 4 PM CT on Wednesday.
LSU could use another blue-chip offensive lineman after four-star Devin Harper flipped to Ole Miss last month. It’s a position of need for LSU, but Tigers’ OL coach Brad Davis still has a chance of signing a strong class.
With DJ Pickett and Harlem Berry in the fold, Thomas would give LSU its third five-star of the class.
