Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class has already seen an influx of talent ahead of Early Signing Day on Wednesday, as head coach Mike Elko and his staff have already flipped three prospects as of Tuesday afternoon, led by five-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers.
However, Rogers’ commitment, along with those of fellow offensive line commits Marcus Garcia, Tyler Thomas, and Joshua Moses, led to the unsurprising announcement that 4-star OL Connor Carty will decommit from Texas A&M and consider other options.
In terms of O-line scouting, Carty is the definition of underrated. He possesses the size and versatility at guard or center and is already an explosive run blocker at his current developmental state.
Carty was one of head coach Mike Elko’s early commits in the 2025 class, while O-line coach Adam Cushing has already proven his elite recruiting skillset after landing Rogers, who could start as soon as the 2025 season.
After careful consideration with my family, I have decided to Decommit from Texas A&M University. With that being said, my recruitment is 100% open! @samspiegs @247Sports @Rivals @On3sports pic.twitter.com/t1t12AMm4m
