Yet another Kentucky football recruit has flipped his commitment.
Per On3’s Hayes Fawcett, runningback recruit Marquise Davis has flipped from Kentucky to Missouri.
“I like the cuture and how God surrounded (the Tigers) are,” Davis told PowerMizzou.com on Sunday night. “I want to keep myself surrounded by good, well-rounded people.”
Davis is a consensus four-star runningback recruit in the upcoming 2025 class and had been committed to the Wildcats since May. The 6’1″, 205 lb. rusher was the 7th ranked runningback in this incoming class — and now will be taking his talents further West to play for the Missouri Tigers.

He is the second running back to commit to the Tigers in this upcoming class, joining three-star recruit Jamarion Morrow. Mizzou also hosted Boise State commit Brendon Haygood on an official visit this past weekend.
Davis was at the second Kentucky commit to change his mind on Sunday alone, joining three-star offensive lineman Tucker Kattus — who flipped to Clemson earlier in the day.
It’s not exactly a shocking development given the state of college football’s current recruiting climate in unison with Kentucky football’s season.
By all accounts, Wildcat football put up a stinker in ’24 — going 4-8 and losing their Governor’s Cup matchup to Louisville 41-14.
