No. 20 Texas A&M (8-3, 5-2 SEC) enters the final week of the regular season with everything on the line against the No. 3 Texas Longhorns (10-1, 6-1 SEC). A spot in the SEC Championship game is on the line, and the winner will face Georgia in Atlanta.
While Aggies head coach Mike Elko is focused on the task at hand, this weekend, inside a likely sold-out Kyle Field, also poses a great recruiting opportunity, as it was announced this week that 2026 4-star cornerback Dorian Barney will take his third visit to College Station this season.
Barney, who recently decommitted from Alabama, saw the Aggies play at Auburn during an official visit to the Tigers last week, so it’s fair to say that he’s well aquatinted with what the program has to offer under Elko and defensive coordinator Jay Bateman.
According to 247Sports, Barney is currently positioned as the 66th-ranked prospect in the 2026 cycle, the 9th-ranked cornerback prospect, and the 8th-ranked prospect in Georgia
No. 19 Texas A&M will host No. 3 Texas on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 6:30 pm. CT. The game will air on ABC.
