A Michigan State football assistant coach is officially a nominee for the award given to the top assistant in the country.
On Wednesday, Joe Rossi was named a nominee for the Broyles Award. He is the only nominee representing MSU.
This is Rossi’s first year with the Spartans, spending the last part of his career with Big Ten rival Minnesota.
