Where LSU’s 2025 recruiting class ranks after recent shakeups

The last two weeks were a whirlwind for LSU on the recruiting trail.

It started with four-star offensive lineman Devin Harper flipping to Ole Miss. A few days later, five-star QB Bryce Underwood flipped to Michigan. Underwood’s flips were followed by reports that four-star receiver Derek Meadows would soon follow.

Meadows hasn’t flipped yet, but it’s only a matter of time.

LSU did get good news this week, though.

Five-star Kade Phillips shut down his recruitment and four-star linebacker Zach Weeks reclassified and joined LSU’s 2025 class.

So, where does that leave LSU’s recruiting class?

The Tigers still have two industry five-stars on board in CB DJ Pickett and RB Harlem Berry. If LSU can get Pickett across the finish line, this is still a good class.

LSU will slip a bit more when Meadows eventually exits and there aren’t many players available to make up for it, but I expect LSU to remain in the top eight.

Here’s where LSU’s 2025 recruiting class ranks after the recent shakeups.
