North Carolina took to Hawai’i this week for a star-studded lineup in the Maui Invitational at the Lahaina Civic Center. The Tar Heels matched up with unranked Dayton in the first round last night.
With a game that had an original start time of 11:30 p.m. ET and ended up starting almost half an hour later, no one would blame you if you didn’t stay up. However, you missed a great game.
North Carolina fell down 18 points in the first half, and that deficit grew to 21 points at the start of the second half. The Tar Heels bounced back and won by two points in a demonstrative second half from RJ Davis and Seth Trimble.
Here is how that game looked!
