The Indianapolis Colts dropped their Week 12 game to the Lions to fall to 5-7 on the season. But what else happened in the AFC South this week?
The Tennessee Titans, who were on the road in Houston, would upset the Texans, 32-27, which makes the Colts’ loss sting a little bit more as it was another opportunity to pick up a game on the division leaders.
Titans’ quarterback Will Levis was 18-for-24 passing for 278 yards with two touchdowns to one interception despite being sacked by the Houston defense eight times.
Calvin Ridley was again the team’s leading receiver with 93 yards, along with tight end Chig Okonkwo adding 70, while running back Tony Pollard totaled 119 rushing yards on 24 carries.
For Houston, there were a lot of mistakes that they had to overcome, which included a pair of CJ Stroud interceptions, along with being penalized as a team 11 times.
Stroud finished with 247 passing yards on 33 attempts with two touchdowns, while the run game couldn’t get going with Joe Mixon totaling just 22 yards on 14 carries.
The Jacksonville Jaguars, meanwhile, were on their bye week.
