After losing two games in a row, the Atlanta Falcons (6-5) have a much-needed bye in Week 12 to recover from their recent onslaught of injuries. The defense hit rock bottom during last weekend’s 38-6 loss to the Denver Broncos.
The Falcons are off this Sunday, but two of their NFC South rivals have games. The Carolina Panthers will face the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will play the Daniel Jones-less New York Giants.

The Falcons will return to the field next weekend for a Week 13 showdown against Jim Harbaugh and the Los Angeles Chargers inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Chargers take on the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night football in Week 12.
