Notre Dame running back [autotag]Jeremiyah Love[/autotag] has his second touchdown of the night against No. 18 Army at Yankee Stadium.
Unlike his first score of the evening, which was a receiving touchdown, Love’s second was a rushing touchdown for the No. 6 Fighting Irish. Meaning his streak of games with a rushing touchdown has extended to 11.
This one was a 14-yard scamper that ended a 3-play, 41-yard drive that took 1:23 off the clock. Love found the end zone with 4:35 remaining in the first half, shortly after Notre Dame forced Army to go three-and-out.
That series followed an Irish failure to punch it in on fourth-and-goal.
Love also had runs of 21- and 6-yards on the drive.
Wayne Bullock was the last Notre Dame player to achieve this feat, doing it in 1973-1974.
