New York Jets fire general manager Joe Douglas

The New York Jets are looking for a new general manager

The New York Jets are continuing their in-season housecleaning.

On Tuesday, they fired general manager Joe Douglas.

The team is having a terrible season at 3-8 and are plummeting.

The decision to acquire Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers has provided dismal results.

Earlier in the season, the Jets fired head coach Robert Saleh and replaced him with interim coach Jeff Ulbrich.

That change has not improved the team.

The Jets are on a bye week and return to play in Dec. 1 against the Seattle Seahawks.
